USA Swimming and Mutual of Omaha sponsor 2011 Duel in the Pool
USA Swimming announced that 36 swimmers have been named to the Duel in the Pool team that will compete against a team of European swimmers. The meet will be held at Georgia Tech in Atlanta on December 16-17, 2011, and will be broadcast on NBC.
The team features 21 Olympians and several swimmers and a coach with North Carolina Swimming credentials. Coach Dave Marsh from MAC will be the men’s head coach. Swimming for Coach Marsh will be Ricky Berens (Charlotte) who now swims for Dave Salo at Trojan Swim Club in CA, Nick Thoman, and Davis Tarwater who both swim for MAC at this time. This should be a great TV event and a fun meet to attend. Congratulations to our NCS coach and swimmers. Good luck USA!
